Saber, Lancer, I'm going to be leaving Goldenrod City for a little while. I'm flying out to New Bark Town to pick up Tohsaka and Sakura, and we might not come back here. If either of them are trainers, we'll probably go to Violet City first, then Azalea Town, then back to Goldenrod. But don't worry, we'll be back as soon as we can.

[Suddenly, something blots out the sun for a few seconds. Overhead is a Charizard, which appears to be circling around for a landing. Suddenly, it decides to descend, then slows down as it reaches the ground, landing a little heavily. Its trainer then slides off its back. He's here for two girls, and he will find them.]

How'd you get involved?

It was something Merlin was passionate about. We often exchanged words regarding it and those who are investigating Team Rocket. [ Her voice is quiet, almost distant when she speaks of the man. ] We are trying to get more organized in his absence. I am one of the few stationed in Goldenrod City that others can come to for protection and other things. This is why I am so reluctant to leave.

Besides, I had a taste of Team Rocket when they attacked us on the train. I cannot stand idly by while such a criminal organization seeks to terrorize the good people here.

I believe so. It would be better split with groups focusing on what their specialty is - for example one to investigate and one to infiltrate their base, but those are decisions out of my hand.

Perhaps, but maybe they are already thinking along that same path. I will show my faith in them and hope they grow. If they do not, then I suppose I shall have to treat them to the way of the Knights of the Round Table.

I suppose that's a good approach for now. But if things get bad, make sure to step up, even if they haven't had enough time to figure it out on their own.
