Kotomine Kirei was a strong person; clever and resourceful, skilled in many areas. A fast learner. If the fourth War taught him anything, I have no doubt it was how to survive.
While I'm disappointed in my student for resorting to such things...if I'm honest, I can't say that I'm surprised.

He learned that pretty well. Some of the other things he did just to stay alive surprised me. I thought for sure Caster had killed him when she took control of the church.

You seem to know the outcome of the fourth Grail War, even if you don't know details. Am I to assume that Kirei was the victor?
[Again, it's the logical conclusion; at the same time, he needs to have it verified. He...simply does.]
